Day 1 – Arrival in Arusha

On arrival at Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by your safari representative and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, you may relax at the lodge or explore the town at your own pace, preparing for the safari adventure ahead.

Meals: Dinner (depending on arrival time)

Day 2 – Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, your private safari guide will pick you up in Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park (approximately 2–3 hours). Upon arrival, enjoy a full game drive through the park, which is known for its large elephant herds, iconic baobab trees, and rich wildlife along the Tarangire River.

You will enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park and continue game viewing in the afternoon before driving to the Karatu area for overnight.

Highlights: Elephant families, baobab landscapes, river wildlife
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 3 – Karatu to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you depart Karatu and drive through the Ngorongoro Highlands toward Serengeti National Park. You will stop at the Ngorongoro Crater viewpoint to take in the panoramic views before continuing into the vast Serengeti plains.

As you enter Serengeti National Park, game viewing begins immediately. You will enjoy a game drive en route to your camp in Central Serengeti, arriving in the late afternoon.

Highlights: Scenic highlands, endless Serengeti plains
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 4 – Full Day Serengeti National Park

This day is fully dedicated to game drives in Serengeti National Park. Central Serengeti is renowned for its year-round wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, giraffes, and large herds of herbivores.

Your guide will plan the day according to wildlife movement and your preferences. You may choose a full-day game drive with picnic lunch or split the day into morning and afternoon drives with time to relax at camp during the midday heat.

Highlights: Big cats, classic Serengeti scenery
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 5 – Serengeti National Park

Another full safari day in Serengeti allows deeper exploration of different areas of the park. Early morning game drives often provide excellent predator sightings, while afternoon drives offer beautiful light and changing wildlife activity. With two full days here, your chances of special encounters are greatly increased.

Highlights: Flexible game drives, varied Serengeti ecosystems
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

‍

Day 6 – Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast, you depart Serengeti and drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Game viewing is possible along the way as you exit the park. The drive takes you through changing landscapes, from open plains to cooler highlands.

You arrive in the Ngorongoro Highlands later in the day and settle into your lodge in the Karatu area, preparing for an early start the following morning.

Highlights: Scenic drive, Ngorongoro Highlands
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 7 – Ngorongoro Crater & Lake Manyara β†’ Arusha

An early start takes you into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive on the crater floor. The crater supports a remarkable concentration of wildlife, including lions, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, flamingos, and with some luck, the endangered black rhino.

After lunch, you continue to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive through groundwater forest, open grasslands, and lakeshore areas known for birdlife and large baboon troops. In the late afternoon, you return to Arusha, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or transferred to the airport for your onward journey.

Highlights: Ngorongoro Crater wildlife, Lake Manyara landscapes
Meals: Breakfast & Lunch
