Day 1 – Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you are warmly welcomed and transferred to your lodge in Arusha. Depending on arrival time, the afternoon is free to rest after your flight or enjoy the peaceful surroundings before your safari begins. A short briefing prepares you for the journey ahead.
Overnight in Mtoni River Lodge.

Day 2 – Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park for your first safari experience. Tarangire is well known for its large elephant herds, baobab trees, and rich concentration of wildlife along the Tarangire River. Enjoy a full game drive with a picnic lunch inside the park before heading to your lodge in the late afternoon.
Overnight in Tarangire Kati Kati.

Day 3 – Tarangire to Ngorongoro Highlands

Enjoy a morning game drive in Tarangire before departing toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The landscape changes from open savannah to cooler highlands as you ascend the crater rim. The afternoon is at leisure, allowing time to relax and enjoy panoramic views.
Overnight at Ngorongoro Coffee Lodge.

Day 4 – Ngorongoro Crater to Central Serengeti

Descend early into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive in one of Africa’s most wildlife-dense areas. The crater floor is home to lions, elephants, buffalo, rhinos, and many other species. After the crater tour, continue your journey toward the Central Serengeti, enjoying wildlife sightings en route.
Overnight in Kati Kati Central.

Day 5 – Full Day in Central Serengeti

Spend the day exploring the heart of the Serengeti, an area famous for year-round wildlife and strong predator activity. Game drives focus on open plains, river systems, and kopjes where lions, leopards, and cheetahs are frequently seen. The day is flexible and paced according to wildlife movement and guest interests.
Overnight in Kati Kati Central.

Day 6 – Central Serengeti to Northern Serengeti

After breakfast, drive north toward the remote Northern Serengeti. This region is characterized by wide open plains and the Mara River ecosystem, which plays a crucial role during the Great Migration season. Game viewing continues along the way, with chances to spot large herds and predators.
Overnight in Kati Kati Mara.

Day 7 – Full Day in Northern Serengeti

Enjoy a full day of game drives in the Northern Serengeti, focusing on the Mara River area. During migration season, this region offers dramatic wildlife encounters as herds gather near river crossings. Even outside peak crossing times, the area provides excellent predator sightings and fewer vehicles, creating a more exclusive safari experience.
Overnight in Kati Kati Mara.

Day 8 – Northern Serengeti to Central Serengeti

After a relaxed breakfast, begin the journey back toward Central Serengeti. The route allows for additional game drives through different ecosystems, offering new perspectives and wildlife encounters. The afternoon is spent on safari before reaching your camp.

Enjoy a final morning game drive in the Serengeti before departing toward Karatu, located near the Ngorongoro highlands. This scenic drive offers a chance to reflect on the safari experience while passing through rural landscapes and local communities.
Overnight at Mama Dunia Safari Lodge.

Day 10 – Karatu to Arusha / Departure

After breakfast, drive back to Arusha for your onward journey. Depending on your schedule, this can include a transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport or an optional extension to Zanzibar.
